THIS IS A 100% ONLINE CLASS TAUGHT BY IU SOUTHEAST. NO ON-CAMPUS CLASS MEETINGS ARE REQUIRED, BUT THERE WILL BE 3-4 VIRTUAL MEETINGS THROUGHOUT THE SEMESTER. A DISTANCE EDUCATION FEE WILL APPLY; CHECK YOUR CAMPUS BURSAR WEBSITE FOR MORE INFORMATION. TEXTBOOK PURCHASES MAY BE MADE THROUGH YOUR HOME CAMPUS BOOKSTORE.
PREREQUISITES: SENIOR STANDING, BUS-F 301, BUS-K 321, BUS-M 301, BUS-Z 302, BUS-P 301.
MUST BE A DECEMBER GRADUATE TO REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE.
SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AUTHORIZATION IS REQUIRED.
CASES IN THIS COURSE ARE PURCHASED DIRECTLY THROUGH HARVARD BUSINESS PUBLISHING. COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH CASE PURCHASES GENERALLY RUN BETWEEN $3.00 - $5.00 EACH AND WE MAY EVALUATE BETWEEN TWO TO FOUR CASES PER SEMESTER. PRIMARY EXAMS IN J 401 ARE DELIVERED THROUGH AN ONLINE EXAM PROCTORING SERVICE. STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR (NOMINAL) PER EXAM FEES PAID DIRECTLY TO THE PROCTORING VENDOR. THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO TAKE THE MAJOR FIELD TEST IN BUSINESS (MFT) THROUGH EDUCATIONAL TESTING SERVICES (ETS) DELIVERED AS PART OF THIS COURSE CURRICULUM. STUDENTS MAY SCHEDULE THEIR EXAMS IN THE IU SOUTHEAST TESTING CENTER IN THE STUDENT DEVELOPMENT CENTER AT NO CHARGE. ALTERNATIVELY, STUDENTS MAY TAKE THE ASSESSMENT ONLINE THROUGH PROCTOR U (A $20.50 PAYMENT IS MADE DIRECTLY TO PROCTOR U WHEN STUDENTS SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS TO TAKE THE ETS EXAM).
